August 2008 The Newsletter of the Fabergé Research Site will begin its third year of publication with a new publication pattern – four issues a year (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer). This will allow for more in depth coverage of special events and an opportunity for more investigative reports from readers. Your news is always welcome and here are the dates for submission throughout each year: January 10th, April 10th, July 10th and October 10th. Exhibitions and Symposium: Cleveland, Ohio (October 19, 2008 - January 18, 2009) Two pieces to be shown for the first time in America represent competing jewelers of the time - the 1900 Tiffany Magnolia Window and the Lalique serpent pendant, both on loan from the Hermitage Museum of St. Petersburg, Russia.
