On mo. Thos. KEVILL, ordered that Levi McMERTRY, John O'HARA &
Thos. KEVILL apptd Commrs. to procession & perpetuate testimony
to the corners & special calls? of tract of land containing 200
acres on the Hurricane Fork of Eddy Creek entered & surveyed in
name of John GORDON and patented in name of George GORDON

January 24th, 1820,

Ordered that Jesse JENKINS, John FERGUSON, Alexr. ANDERSON,
Andrew DUNCAN, & David OSBORN who or any three of whom being
first sworn do view lay out & mark a way for a road to pass
leading from HARPENDINGs ferry on Tennessee River to intersect
the road leading from GILLEHENs ferry to WIDOW REYNOLDS on
Tennessee River at the house where Isaac GREER formerly lived
& report &c.
On motion of Francis P. PENNINGTON admr. of the estate of Morton
MAULDING Decd. ordered that Stephen STEWART, Stephen D. B. STEWART,
John McKINNEY & Matthew WILSON or any three of whom being first
sworn be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners to divide
the personal estate & Slaves of Said Decedant and report to this
Court.
Ordered that the Surveyor of that part of the public road leading
from Princeton to the Christian County line be permitted to
change the Same in the following manner taking off near the house
where Benjamin WORTHINGTON formerly lived and intersect the
present road one half mile north of Jeremiah RUCKERs house so as
not to be removed from the present ground more than forty poles.
Ordered that JOHN H. PHELPS Clerk of this court be allowed for
copying & certifying two alphabetical commissioners books for
the year 1819 which is ordered to be certd. & c.

to need of him at home. Battle of Monmouth and several others.
Latter part 1779 joined army in the Staff Dept. as Asst. quarter-
