- The Fabergé Arts Foundation (FAF) with offices in Washington (DC) and St.
Petersburg, Russia, is actively engaged in assisting the
Hermitage Museum in establishing a Fabergé Museum and
Library in St. Petersburg. FAF invites you to view its
recently updated web page.
- A list of
221 art objects which disappeared from the Hermitage Museum is posted on
the museum’s official website. Several Fabergé objects
with forged and true Fabergé marks are included in the
list.
- The
Russian journal Antikvarnoe includes articles by
Valentin Skurlov on the variety of Fabergé stands on
clocks, frames and thermometers (Issue no. 1, 2006), and
an estimate by percentage of the various categories of
objects made by the House of Fabergé between 1891-1917
(Issue no. 2, 2006).
- The reburial in
St. Petersburg of Tsarina Marie Fedorovna for whom
Fabergé made Easter eggs took place in September 2006.
