Lectures

March 2007
Dr. Ulla Tillander-Godenhielm participated as a presenter in the Arts and Crafts Symposium held at Gotland University in Sweden. For the first time the art of the Russian goldsmiths from Peter the Great to Fabergé was included. Students studied materials, techniques, analyzed objects, participated in documentation and exhibition work, and took field trips to museums.

April 18 and 19, 2007
John W. Keefe, Curator of Decorative Arts at the New Orleans Museum of Art, will present two lectures at the Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art. Topics are Fabergé and Vanished Russia, respectively.
