This is the only remnants of a truss bridge that I saw. As you can see from some of the other angles it, too, began life as a railroad bridge. However, being a truss bridge there was not enough width for a 2-lane highway. So, the conversion engineers ran the roadbed across the TOP of the trusses! A rather unique conversion, don't you think?
