twelfth
night
Additional Info: This is an
authorized re-write of a McCartney song (can you tell which one?). It
appeared in 1988, only months after the original version was issued, in the
Kenneth Branagh Production of Twelfth Night. Originally aired on Thames
Television in the UK, this production of Twelfth Night later appeared on PBS and
is available on video. Branagh personally asked McCartney for permission
to do this re-write. Musical credits: Anton Lesser - sings
"Come Away Death" as Feste (the clown); Pat Doyle - Musical Director,
Piano; Janet Crouch - Cello; Alan Danson - French Horn; and Peter Howland -
Percussion.
