Each student will write a 30-second straight spot for a real business or product. The student should consider steps of persuasion, format, and the fact that the information will HEARD and not read. The product should be acceptable under the old NAB Codes- that means no hard liquor, massage parlors, etc.

The commercial will be produced Iive in class on the date indicated on your calendar and will be recorded at that time. You will be graded upon the following criteria:



A copy of the script of the commercial must be typed, in script form and in Dr. Mc's hands BEFORE you enter the control room. You will have approximately 3 minutes to
