TREK-A-THON 2003! |
UPDATED : 03/13/2003
Friday, March 15th
Beginning at 6:30 until ---- ?
Objectives:
Watch as many Star Trek episodes as humanly possible
Collect data for Television Crit paper
Preparation:
Choose your paper topic
Prepare an outline of your main points and the support you need for them
Determine what episodes you need to see
What to Bring:
Notebooks, research materials
Soft drinks -- at least one two-liter bottle
Snacks or finger-food
Pillows, blanket, etc. -- You may be sitting on the floor
What to Wear:
Comfortable but modest clothes
No swim suit this year -- pool has a leak and water is green. Sorry.
No uniforms, alien costumes, Bajoran earrings or foam Vulcan ears
( We are TrekkERS, not TrekkIES. There IS a difference.)
What to Expect:
Three to five TV-VCR units set up for viewing in different part of the house
Dr. Mc will probably make soup, pizza and/or homemade bread, and of course, chocolate chip cookies (We will need fuel.)
Access to Star Trek reference books and Dr. Mc's collection of video tapes
Watching TV until waaaaay past midnight (Breakfast is a possibility.) (Maybe not this year.............)
If we do run late and people decide to stay over, a separate area of the house will be designated for girls and guys so no "compromise" may be inferred.
See you there!
"Where no class has gone before...."
(Couldn't help myself......Sorry.)
