William Creel
William Creel had a daughter, Jemina, who died on January 12, 1858. She was married to John Tindall and they had the following children: William David, who had married Margaret Smith; Mary A. E., wife of John M. Smith; Martha Sowell, a widow and minor who married Jackson Owens May 14, 1859; and Thomas Daniel, a minor. Jeff S. Konce was appointed Thomas' guardian.
At the time of his death, John Tindal's estate included 240 acres:

This is probably the older William Creel who has possibly remarried.

This is either the same William Creel listed in 1800 and 1810 and his wife has died. OR this is a younger William listed as one of the sons in 1800. Jemina is probably the daughter of the older William as the William David Tindall Bible lists her year of birth as 1809. Records indicate that the William Creel that died in 1837, father of Jemina, was William Sr. Thomas is probably the child listed as under 10 above.

The age of William seems incorrect. It does not fit in the the ages of head of household for 1800, 1820 and 1830 census. The older daughter here is probably the same daughter listed in 1800 and 1820 and was born between 1795 and 1799.

Barnwell was created from land in Orange/Orangeburg County. John and William Creel were probably brothers, each just married and starting their families.
