Peter Bray

Peter Bray's first job in the film industry was as transportation coordinator for Robert Altman's feature film Quintent, which was shot in Montreal. It was an appropriate beginning for Bray, who had learned a great deal about transportation during seven years on the road managing rock bands during the 1970's. His career in film has also resulted in a great deal of globetrotting, having worked in Canada, the United States, England, Scotland, Africa, Israel, the Bahamas, Malta, New Zealand, Hungary, France and Prague.

The association with Altman led to work on the director's subsequent features Health and Popeye, as both second assistant director and an actor. He then turned to unit and location managing, earning credits on such productions as Quest for Fire, Louisiana, The Bay Boy and Boy in Blue. He then went on to production managing Robin Spry's feature films Keeping Track and Obsessed. He continued to work as a production manager on Alliance Communication's series Mount Royal and was then line producer on the company's subsequent series Bordertown and Black Stallion.

Bray is one of Alliance's highest rated producers. He's served as executive in charge of production for their multi-award winning series E.N.G.; produced their television movie Family of Cops, starring Charles Bronson; and was supervising producer of the sequel Breach of Faith: Family of Cops II. Bray was in Europe supervising the production of the critically acclaimed television film The Hunchback starring Richard Harris and Mandy Patinkin.

Bray received both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for the CBS mini-series "Joan of Arc." He continues to be a very active producer.
