The IRC is a marvel that allows users from all over the world to log onto different channels and exchange messages with one another in real time. Due South has its own IRC channel on the EFnet IRC network, #duesouth, which allows fans of the show to meet, discuss the program, and goof around. Similar channels with different names may exist on the EFnet or the DALnet networks.

To participate in IRC, you will need some kind of client software. Tucows has a good selection of IRC clients as well as other cool programs that you can download. The most popular chat clients for Microsoft Windows systems are:
