1818 Present Arthur H. DAVIS, Garret GRAY Senr., Harry CLARK Esqrs.
John WHITNEL produced a Commission from his excellency Gabl.
SLAUGHTER Esqr acting Gov. of Kentucky appointing him Sheriff of
Caldwell County until the end of the next Genl. assembly. And
on his motion he Said WHITNEL enters into and acknowledged bond
with Thomas FRAZER, Stephen C. DORRIS & John RUCKER his Securi-
ties entered into and acknowledged payable to the Commonwealth of
Kentucky in the penalty of three thousand dollars. Conditioned
