at OSBORNs ferry on the Cumberland River to Said Penticosts on
Tennessee have this day made their report which is confirmed &
the Said Road Established from Said Osborns ferry to Penticosts
ferry on Tennessee River--

Ordered that Jesse JENKINS ["Richd SWOR" crossed out] be appointed
Surveyor of that part of the public road leading from Princeton by
way of OSBORNs ferry on the Cumberland River to PENTICOSTs ferry
on the Tennessee River Commencing at Said Osborns ferry to ["the
creek" crossed out] Where the Same will Intersect the road leading
>from Eddyville to Dover Tennessee State & that he with all the
hands living within two miles on Each Side of said road do open
& Keep the Same in repair fifteen feet wide according to law.

Ordered that Richd SWOR be appointed Surveyor of that part of the
public road leading from Princeton to Penticosts ferry on Tennes-
see River by OSBORNs ferry on Cumberland, Commencing at the Inter-
section of said Road with Road from Eddyville to Dover Tennessee
to Penticosts ferry on Tennessee River and that he with all the
hands living within Two miles on each side of Said road do open
& Keep the Same in repair fifteen feet wide according to law.

Ordered that Hugh KILGORE, Jesse GREER, James BOWLAND, John
GRASTY & John HARRISS or any three of whom being first sworn do
view & Review [p.67] the road leading from Princeton to PENTICOSTs
ferry on Tennessee River by way of OSBORNs ferry on Cumberland
River & mark out & lay off the Same the nearest best & most Con-
venient way from Princeton Said Osborns ferry making such alter-
ation as they may think proper in old road & report to this Court
the Conveniences &c &c &c.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky v. Milton FINLEY} On a Charge of
bastardy.  this day came the deft by his attorney and On motion
of the deft by his attorney he moves the Court to quash the
Warrant & recognizance herein after argument it is ordered that
the Same Said Warrant & recognizance be quashed Set aside & held
for nought.

On motion of John BEARDEN ordered that Warham EASLEY, Demsey
WHITE, David RUFORD?, Henry CLARKE & John FRAZER or any three
being first Sworn do view & mark a way the nearest & best from
New Market Mills to intersect the road leading from Princeton
to Hopkinsville & report &c.

On motion of Wm BUSH and it appearing to the Court that he is
owner of the lands on the north side of Cumberland river where
he wishes a ferry to be established Therefore it is considered
by the Court that Said ferry be established [p. 80] On the north
bank of Said river about one fourth of a mile below the mouth of
Hurricane at the place Known by the name of Jesse GREERs Old
place and thereupon he Said BUSH with Charles JONES his Security
entered into & acknowledged bond payable to the Com of Kentucky
in the penalty of £70. Conditioned as the law directs.

the public road leading from Hopkinsville to Saline lick Com-
menceing at the ford of Donaldson to David DAVIDSON (in the room

Dobbs Co, NC, 8-1-1781 Capt. Thos. ARMSTRONGs Company, 2nd
NC Regt Commanded by Archibald LITTLE? til 8-1782. dischgd at
Ashley Hill, SC. Took sick soon after he joined army at the
high Hills of Santee & was remanded to Camden Hospital.  When
he recovered was ordered to duty with the Guard at Cambden
doing sergeant's duty.

Henry LEE's legion, joined Capt.Michael RODOLPH's Co. at
Battle of Eutaw Springs. Afterward command of the corps he
belonged to fell to Col. LAWRENCE who died, then he was under
Maj. EGGLESTON & marched to Charleston. Hon. disch. by Gen.
GREEN & Col. LEE at Na--?- apx. 30 mi. from Chlstn.

is ordered that certificate of letters of administration be
granted him on the estate of Morton MAULDING Decd on his
giving bond with security agreeable to law, Whereupon he Said
PENNINGTON with Francis PRINCE & Wm. WADLINGTON his Securities
entered into and ackd bond in the penalty of four thousand
dollars payable to the Commonwealth of Kentucky conditioned
according to law
