YANDELLMy grandparents moved to IL from KY. My grandmother's maiden name was Laura Yandell, b. 1864. According to the 1880 census of Caldwell County, her father was J.W. Yandell, a farmer (b about 1831in KY), whose parents were also born in KY. Her mother was Thurza (or Thirza), b about 1836.

"Bud" Mitchusson who was the son of James F. Mitchusson Jr. and Caroline
Mitchell Mitchusson. James F. Mitchusson Jr. was the son of James F.

believed to have died in Caldwell County in 1866 and James F. Mitchusson
Jr. along with his two sons, William Marcus Mitchusson (married to
Minerva Jane Bell Mitchusson) and Abraham Young Mitchusson moved to
Grayson County Texas sometime between 1866 and 1870. They appear on the
1870 Census in Grayson County Texas. William Marcus Mitchusson is
believed to have returned to Caldwell County around 1900 to visit family,

DUNNINGCould anyone tell me just where Pollard's Tanyard was located in 1860. John Dunning was in that area on the 1860 census. When he sold his land to his son in 1847, it was described as being on Piney Fork of Tradewater. Would this be in the same area as Pollard's Tanyard? Oh, one other thing -- I am having a very difficult time establishing children for this John. There were several who married in the 1840s with no father being mentioned on the marriage records. Does anyone know if Foster Mason was a minister or J.P. and what area he was he? He married Eliza Jane Dunning and Sterling Beshears. I feel like she could be a daughter of John Dunning.

I am requesting info on the DAVIS family of Caldwell, Lyon and Livingston Counties in Kentucky. My g-g grandmother, Eliza Victoria DAVIS was born in the 1860's to James C. DAVIS (b. 1828) and Eliza Anne MOORE. James C. DAVIS was the son of Elizabeth DAVIS. He had brothers John, Francis M. and several sisters including Altazora. The family was originally from Caldwell Co., later went to Lyon, then on to Livingston. James C. and family relocated to Stoddard County, MO in late 1870's. His mother Elizabeth went with them. JACOB, WHITE.I am researching Arnold Jacob and his descendants. He was in Caldwell Co from 1809 till around 1850. He moved to Paducah around then. His son Augustus Frederick Jacob was a constable
for Caldwell Co - he died around 1847. His wife Lucy White was
the daughter of Elisha White - Arnold Jacob was Lucy''s guardian
until Augustus F married her around 1829. My great-grandfather was
Augustus's son Montalvo T born in Dec 1831. One of Augustus's
brothers was Everard P who married Emma White. This White was
clearly from Louisa Co VA. I think Elisha was too but can't pin him
down to there. Have contact with two descendants of Everard and
one of Montalvo's brother Albertus Elisha Jacob. Albertus was the
only one who stayed in Caldwell County. Would be interested in any
