Looking for information on the children of Jesse William Taylor (1889- 1969) and his first wife, Agnes O'Loughlin (1890-1920). Their eldest daughter, Jessie Frances (1908-1998) was born in Paducah, but their remaining four children were all born in PRINCETON, KY. Their names are James Cornelius (1910-1997), Nina Eloise (w/h; still living), Mary Agnes (1915-1969), and William Kimball (w/h; still living). Agnes died in 1920 of tuberculosis; Jesse had contracted it also but had recovered once he was sent out west. Jesse worked for the Illinois Central Railroad as a dispatcher. Apparently, Agnes's mother had also lived in Princeton. I know her only as "Grandma Cairnes" (b. Mary Margaret Mullen? m. a James Cornelius O'Loughlin) and her husband as "Daddy Jim." (Jim or James Cairnes?) After his recovery, Jesse sent for his children to join him out west; last to arrive was his eldest daughter, about 1923. I am looking for a possible Anderson cemetery in Trigg Co. in the Long Creek area in the current LBL. My gggg-granmother, Sarah Carney Anderson, died sometime between 1807 and 1819 while living with her son Vincent Anderson in this Long Creek area of what was then Livingston, then Caldwell, now Trigg Co. Vincents wife, my gggrandmother, Mary Terry Anderson, died shortly later and I believe them both buried together. I have tried to transpose an old 1807 deed (filed in Livingston Co at the time) to a modern KY map, and from that I think that she probably was buried somewhere around Long Creek probably not too far from where KY 80/US 68 cross Lake Barkley. If you have any immediate information about an Anderson cemetery, or a cemetery in that area with Anderson markers, or just any cemetery in that area with unmarked graves, then I would be most grateful for this information. My 2nd great grandfather, Timothy N. Tracy came to Breckenridge, Caldwell Co., MO abt 1870. He and is family are found on the Census that year. In the family is a 1 yr. old child, Cora, shown to be born in IL, so they must have come end of 1869 or beginning of 1870. Timothy's eldest son, Fred (shown Frederick on census, which is incorrect), age 20, is with the family, but his older sister is not. I presume she married wherever it was they were at before coming to Breckinridge. Also these two children's mother, Hannah appears to have died as Timothy is married to Helen. This census says all the children were born in IL, but Fred was born in MA. It also shows Helen to be born in NY and Timothy born in VT - but he was born in NH, according to his marriage record to Hannah in MA. Timothy and Hannah left MA about 1854+/- as I find him on City directories until that time. I know that Fred married Gabrilia Shiner in 1876 and my grandfather was born in Tama Co, IA. There are lots of Shiners in both Breckenridge, MO and Tama Co., IA as I have a family history of the Shiners which places them in these two areas. Would appreciate any assistance of any kind with reference to this family. I sure would like to find out when Hannah died and where she is buried, the older sister's name, who she married, where and when. Also, I would like to know where Fred and Gabrilia married. Was it in MO, ILL or IA. Her father died in Tama, IA so I assume it was there, but she was married previously to Homer Joslin Blasdell in IL. They had three children and were divorced. My grandmother, Annice Rowland Azbill (1885-1962,) was the only child of Robert Lee Rowland (1836-1896) and Mary Wilson Coffer d.1895. Robert was the second sibling of William L. Rowland b.1812 and Nancy Halloway b.1815. The 1850 census Caldwell CO, KY list the siblings of William L. Rowland and Nancy Halloway as follows: Albert J. 16 Robert L. 14 Wm. C. 12 James E. 11 Angeline M. 6 Ann E. 4 Henry P. 6/12 The only other sibling that I have identified is from an obit from a Paducah, KY newspaper. Leticia Rowland married Peter Grimmer and lived most of her life and died at Paducah, KY. Just returned from Princeton, KY where I got a copy of the marriage license of Wm. L. Rowland and Nancy Halloway and the will of Lewis Rowland. Lewis Rowland is a far back as I can go. I do not have a clue where to look backward. Any help or suggestion would be much appreciated. KY There were two more children born before 1860 in Caldwell Co. They were: William born about 1852 John born about 1857 In 1860 in Reziah is again in McNairy Co. TN (listed as Lizzie) with the 4 children. Samuel died in McNairy Co. TN about 1858. Reziah/Kizzie died about 1868. She was his third or fourth wife. Charles ANDERSON's estate sale is dated 1818 in Caldwell County. I have the inventory list which names Heirs: wife Sally, Alexander, John, Vincent and Bailey Anderson. This list does not state the relationship of these these 4 Anderson heirs. Does anyone have any other documents (will, court records, etc) related to this Charles Anderson or his widow Sally? According to the Caldwell County, Ky. 1900 Federal Census my grandmother Ella BROWN, 8 years of age, was living in the household of Jacob H. YOUNG, age 27. Jacob YOUNG's sister mary A. YOUNG , age 29 is also listed there. Kellie Workman, nephew to Jacob YOUNG, was a farm laborer listed in the household also. Ella BROWN is listed as Jacob YOUNG's niece, with a John W. H. Does anyone know who the parents of JULIA ANN ORR were? Perhaps someone can help me sort out the following: Julia Ann was born about 1830 in Trigg Co., KY. She married WILBERN NICKELL on January 12, 1844 in Caldwell Co., KY. The court documents of that marriage include a statement by JOHN COCHRAN that he gives consent for his daughter Julia Orr to marry Wilbern. John Cochran also consented to the marriage bond with Wilbern . Julia A. Nichols [sp?] appears in the 1850 Trigg Co., KY census as the head of a household. [Apparently Wilbern had died--1849.] Julia's age is given as 20. Three children are listed: Alfred, Emeline, Michael. My lineage is traced through Julia's daughter Emeline/Emaline, who married ZEDRIC D. MITCHUSSON born 5 June 1845 in Ironton, Trigg Co., KY. Zedric fought on the Union side, and ultimately died from war wounds on 10 February 1877. A journal page of death records, of which I have a photocopy [likely from Lyon Co., KY as most individuals are listed as residing there] show the death of Julia Orr on June 8, 1855. The listing appears as follows [with my brackets]: Julia Orr W[hite]/Age 25/ Female/ Single/ Occupation: B [whatever that means, many are listed that way]/ Residence: Lyon Co., KY/ Place of Birth: Trigg Co., KY/ Parents: JAMES & JANE ORR/Place of Death: Smithland, KY/Time of Death: June 8, 1855/Cause of Death: Typhoid Fever. Someone else has said that Julia Ann was buried at Newby Cemetery in Lyon Co. But, unless I am missing something, I did not see that indicated in the account of that cemetery given in "Land Between the Lakes Cemetery Records" compiled by Judith Ann Beam, 1974. I am looking for information about possible gravesites for my ggg-grandmother, Mary Terry Anderson, wife of Vincent Anderson, and Vincent's mother, my gggg-grandmother Sarah Carney Anderson. Vincent, his wife andhis mother lived in Caldwell Co. from about 1809 to about 1819;an application for a pension by Sarah Carney Anderson is on record in Caldwell Co. In 1819 Vincent and his 5 sons moved to Graves Co but there is no record of either Mary or Sarah ever being in Graves Co. Thus I presume that both died during the 10 years Vincent spent in Caldwell Co (Livingston before Caldwell was formed) and are buried somewhere in the county. Can anyone confirm this? His father died when he was just a babe and I don't know what his name was. His mother's name was Elizabeth and she married a Pirtle after Silas' father died. They are buried in The Tinsley Cemetary that is somewhere near Princeton and Crider KY. I remember going there for 'graveyard cleaning' when I was a little girl. I visited the cemetary last summer and hope that I can again this year. I know that there is a wealth of information there. If any of this rings a bell with you, please let me know. Oh, and I remember that there was a church next to the cemetary. The pastor (when I was a child in the '50s) was Rev. James Tinsley. I don't know the name of the church.

Am sure this is Sarah as Sally was a common nickname for Sarah and also because I have a reproduced copy of the pre-nuptial agreement naming the Dunklin children as they were to be provided for. Two old publications and family letters say she married a Micajah Sweeney with no mention of John McElroy. The Dunklin family lived in Fredonia. Maxwell born 17 July 1859 Hampshire,Ephram Baker Maxwell born 12 Feb 1865 Hampshire TN,.It is belived the Maxwell family exited the Middle TN area, ante 1870. I am researching my direct ancestor, Alfred WRIGHT (also listed as Alford RIGHT). He married Margaret DUNN (b. 1819) in Caldwell County, KY on October 24, 1838. She was the dau of Simon Dunn (b.abt. 1778 and d. abt. 1836 in Caldwell County). Simon DUNN married Mary "Polly" A. DOBBINS on March 12, 1818 in Caldwell County. She was the dau. of James DOBBINS. Alfred and Margaret WRIGHT had three children: Simon T. (b. 1840), Mary M. (b. 1843) and Madison Matthew, my direct ancestor (b. 1840). Madison Matthew WRIGHT or his son, Charlie "El" WRIGHT, removed to Graves County, KY around 1860. I haave been unable to find any WRIGHTS prior to Alfred WRIGHT. I would appreciate any info on any of the above, especially the WRIGHTS, or any allied family. Thanks for any help.
