WESTON CEMETERY - CRITTENDEN COUNTY, KY

Recorded Nov 1989 by Brenda Joyce Jerome, CGRS

Located on a high hill overlooking what is left of the old
Ohio River town of Weston. When this cemetery was recorded in
Nov 1989, it was badly overgrown and a machete was used to
clear a path to find the tombstones. Many of the tombstones
lie flat on the ground. From the old town site, it is
necessary to hike up a washed out road to the top of the
hill, where the cemetery is located. There is a wonderful
view from the cemetery of the Ohio River and across the
river to Hardin County, IL.
